Lost Password redirects to root domain on multisite installation

If you are running a WordPress site on a multisite installation, please be aware there is currently a glitch in the WordPress Core files which mean that the “Lost Password” links on your login pages will redirect to the root WordPress installation

For example:

If you have a site at http://www.yourdomain.com/site1/

and your root install is at http://www.yourdomain.com

Any lost password links will send the user back to http://www.yourdomain.com

Unfortunately this is an issue with the Core WordPress files and not an OptimizePress / OptimizeMember bug.  This is documented here:

There is some code which can fix this as documented here:
The S2member forums also document this here:
Those links should provide some potential solutions for this although it does require some modification of your Core WordPress installation files – so please be aware updating your WordPress installation in the future may overwrite these changes.

We are hoping that WordPress will adopt these changes in their core files in the future – until then this is something that is outside of our control
