We would suggest trying out the new OptimizePress Smart Theme. This plugin adds social icons to your WordPress menus. We have found that in some cases, the icons in the menu appear in italics in some of our blog themes.
You can fix this issue by adding the following custom CSS to your site by going to:
OptimizePress > Blog Settings > Modules > Other Scripts > Custom CSS:
.blog i{font-style: normal!important;}
.single-post i, em, i {font-style: normal!important;}
This will ensure that the icons do not appear in italics on your menus for the blog home page and single posts pages.
