This guide will show you how to set the description and image which is shown on Facebook when your content is shared. We have broken down this process into two sections, the settings for normal WordPress pages and posts, and a separate section for LiveEditor pages
LiveEditor Page Facebook Options
To set the content that is shared for your LiveEditor pages when published to Facebook, follow these steps. Please note these settings require you to have the SEO Options turned on inside OptimizePress > Dashboard > Global Settings.
If you are using a third party SEO plugin you should consult their options for Facebook share settings.
1. In the LiveEditor, go to Page Settings on the left side menu:
2. Inside Page Settings window, select “SEO Options” and scroll down to find the Facebook Title, Description and Image settings. Enter your information here and save the settings and save your page.
3. Once you have added your sharing information, you may need to refresh the Facebook Temporary Cache (their temporary store of your Website information) to the latest information.
To do this, enter your domain in the Facebook Debug tool at this address:
https://developers.facebook.com/tools/debug/
Once you run this through your page it should show the new information you have entered.
