NOTE: The plugin “Global Content Blocks” seems to no longer be supported. We would suggest using this plugin instead:

We have recently became aware of an issue when using iframe code within the live editor. When this code is added to the live editor (regardless of which element is used), it will break the live editor and you will not be able to add, remove, or edit any elements, which unfortunately makes it so the page will have to be rebuilt in order to edit it.
This will only occur on pages where the iframe code was used. All of your other pages will still be editable and able to be used as normal.
For those of you who need to use iframes, we do have a workaround for this which involves using a free plugin called Global Content Blocks, which can be can be found by visiting the following link:
http://wordpress.org/plugins/global-content-blocks/.
Here is a video that details how to use Global Content Blocks to use an iframe inside the live editor (click the icon in the bottom right of the video to enlarge to full screen):
Please note: Most iframe codes used as part of a video embed *should* work fine and should not require this process – this process is for when you are iframing another URL.
If you have any questions about this process please let us know.
